The Energy Investment Company produces lignite coal from two Ukrainian deposits, Oleksandriya (Kirovohrad region) and Mokra Kalyhirka (Cherkasy region).
In addition to selling lump brown coal, the Energy Investment Company produces brown coal briquettes. Briquettes are used for company needs. For example, to pump water at the Mokra Kalyhirka deposit, the Company uses gas generators working on brown coal briquettes. It allows to generate up to 200 cubic meters of gas per hour with a calorific value of no less than 1200 kcal / kg.
Brown coal will also be used in production of humic fertilizers.
The Energy Investment Company plans to create a vicious cycle of production. Mined brown coal will be processed into heat and electricity at a brown coal fired power plant. Produced energy will be used in briquette and fertilizer production, as well as sold to consumers.
