The Energy Investment Company Launched a New Product - BKO (25-100) Lump Brown Coal
The Energy Investment Company has launched a new product, BKO (25-100) lump coal from the Mokra Kalyhirka brown coal deposit.
BKO (25-100) has higher caloric value. Its Net CV is 3076 kkal/ kg, which is 23% higher than that of BR-1 brown coal. In addition, moisture for BKO (25-100) is 21.6% as compared to 48.06% of BR-1 brown coal.
Given the sieve analysis (25-49 mm - 20%, 50-100 mm - 80%), BKO (25-100) brown coal can be applied at both industrial consumers and households. The former include thermal and heating power plants, boilers that can use brown coal of this size.
The Company is able to produce 100 thousand MT of BKO (25-100) brown coal. The Company plans to sell the product on Ukrainian and European markets.
